Slight EDGE & Big-Bertha

# WINNERS LISTEN AND RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE’S OPINION & TRY TO LEARN FROM THEM whereas THE OTHERS REMAIN PARTICIPANTS AND JUST WANT TO TALK.

Hello Folks ,, what’s up in the air other than Corona Virus. I am guessing some little white balls must have been flying in the air after adhering to the lockdown discipline.

1. Golf is a highly competitive game . Each year the PGA awards the Vardon Trophy to the professional player with the lowest stroke average over the tour season. The slightest edge over the other golfers will earn a golfer the most coveted Vardon Trophy. Just to give an example…in the year 2000 Tiger Wood won the Vardon Trophy with an average stroke of 68.43 per round . What is more interesting to know is that Tiger Woods won it by 82/100ths of a stroke over Phil Mickleson , who edged Ernie Els by 6/100ths of a stroke for a second place. The point I am trying to make here is that the slightest EDGE can make you win anything in life & at Golf. One better drive in the fairway, an incredible chip-in, amazing Bunker shot or may be terrific hook /cut around the obstacles/trees will end up giving you that Slight EDGE ( the winning Edge).

2. In Golf or for that matter in life as such, the right work ethics and continuous efforts results into achieving that slight EDGE over your next competitors to gain a Big Bertha Confidence.

THE NAMING CEREMONY

3. I do not know whether you are aware or not but the term Big Bertha is actually a Century old . In reality it’s a ‘eponyms’. Infact in 1902, there was a girl named Bertha Krupp, aged 16yr who inherited her family’ weapon works (one of the Germany’s leading manufacturers) of that era. The firm manufactured a gigantic 94-ton mortor with a muzzle a foot -and – a-half wide and Britishers nick-named it ” Big – Bertha”. The Callaway latter came out with its first over-sized drivers and decided to named it a -Big Bertha Driver & in golfing world they say rest is history.

THE DIFFERNCIATING EDGE πŸ‘†

4.  The Slight EDGE, whom I often refer as a “Differenciating EDGE’ is a by-product of one’s  deligence, hard work and ethical work practices which leads to germination of  Big-Bartha Confidence in stressing times. Merely buying a Big-Barth Driver from the Golf Shop is not enough to give you that edge πŸ˜€πŸ˜€.

5. One of the amazing things about the slight EDGE is that it’s a very generous process. It requires only a minuscule contribution from you, and yet it offers you a gigantic return.The right choices and wrong choices you make at the moment may have a little or no noticeable impact on your tomorrow. But it is exactly these same undramatic, seemingly insignificant actions, when compounded over time, will dramatically affect how your game or life turns out.

6. The only requirement is to keep your efforts long enough for the power of time to kick in. I have come to realise that time is the only force that magnifies those little, almost imperceptible, seemingly insignificant things you do every day into something titanic and unstoppable.

7. So everytime, you must “Tee it up” with a clarity of purpose and vision in mind to draw the power from all those positive mental images harnessed with a power of time. The equation is Differenciating EDGE’ reads like this :-

BBC πŸ”„ Pt x Ce

{ Big-Bertha Confidence =~ Power of time x Continuous Efforts }

HARNESS YOUR POTENTIAL ( Pt x Ce)
